Sorry to everyone that I haven’t kept up with the site and now is the time of year to be fishing. The fish have turned on since a month ago but now they are in the holes of all the bays and bayous of Pointe a-la-Hache. The best spots are Third Bay, Second Bay, Grande Pointe Bay, and all the canals in that area. Best baits are live shrimp and sometimes they are hitting the Chartreuse colors and the Vudu Shrimp under a cork about 16 to 24 inches. We have live bait and tackle if you need the tackle. These are picture of my family outing this past Thanksgiving. My wife and I went out the day before Thanksgiving and limited out on a windy day using live shrimp and chartreuse beetles. We ventured out with other family members and had 6 people on the boat Saturday. The fishing was slow but we finally found them and caught about 80 trout ranging from 12 to 20 inches and my wife hauled in a 36 and 20 in red fish, the biggest fish of her life. She was so exited and I was happy we all had a good time. Only on Louisiana!
