Fishing has been good, despite the weather and high river. We are experiencing some river water in the local waters and you may have to avoid some of those areas. Some of the same spots are still producing fish you just may have to fish a little harder. A lot of the fish have moved inshore more to the area of Oak River and the bays to the north and south. Skippy Lake, Pon Ton, Pointe Fienne, Wreck Bay, Bakers Bay, and the dead end canals behind Bass Enterprise. Oak River itself has been good also. The regular spots 2nd and 3rd Bays along with Grande Point Bay are still good, just find some clean water or fish deeper and on the bottom. Live shrimp is still the preference but some artificial baits like chartreuse, white, mixed colors with red in them are good also. So get fishing and or catching and have a wonderful time. Merry Christmas to all.
