Fishing has been good, despite the weather and high river. We are experiencing some river water in the local waters and you may have to avoid some of those areas. Sorry to everyone that I haven’t kept up with the site and now is the time of year to be fishing. The fish have turned on since a month ago but now they are in the holes of all the bays and bayous of Pointe a-la-Hache. The best spots are Third Bay, Second Bay, Grande Pointe Bay, and all the canals in that area.
The fish have been turning up in the inner marsh and have been biting almost everywhere. The usual spots are Battle Ground Bay, 2nd and 3rd Bays, along with some of the dead end canals.
